What is a Study Coach?
A study coach is an adult who spends time with young people with the aim of encouraging, motivating and helping develop their skills.
The many roles of a study coach may include:
- Guide
- Friend
- Listener
- Role Model
- Teacher
- Developer of self esteem
Have you got 2 hours to spare each week?
We are looking to recruit study coaches to act as positive role models and support pupils in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT
Study coaches are needed to support youngsters aged 9-14 years who voluntarily attend study support centres at Nottingham Forest Football Club, The Nottingham Tennis Centre and the National Ice Centre- these centres are part of the 'Playing for Success' project.
'Playing for Success' is a national scheme which encourages study using sport as a motivating theme.
