The Centre Facilities

The Study Support Centre offers a unique training environment and following a major refit of equipment during the Summer of 2003 has on offer some of the latest and most up to date ICT software and hardware available.

The Centre, which is situated directly opposite the main stand, provides the ideal venue for:

• IT Training- Beginners to advanced
• Software/Product Launch
• Employee Development Projects
• Group Education Seminars
• Training Workshops
• Resource Training
• Refresher Course Training
• Team Meetings /Away Days

A large ICT suite containing

• 24 Pentium 4 NEC PC's
• Black and White and Colour Laser Printers
• Interactive Whiteboard
• Projector
• Direct access to the internet through a1MB dedicated line.
• Scanner
• NETOP Demonstration Software (On screen training across the network)

Meeting room

• Space for up to 12 people in boardroom style

Front and rear foyer

• Both areas can be used as meeting areas and in addition the rear area contains hot and cold drinks machines, drinking water and snack machines.
  
• Hot and cold buffets can also be booked through the clubs catering facilities on 982 4452

Hire

We currently run a two tier pricing structure for the hire of our rooms with all Local Authority Education Users being charged at a reduced fee.

IT support is also available at a rate of £25 per hour

Reductions in price are also available to companies wishing to make long term booking commitments of ten sessions or more.

Tuesday 10.30am - 3.00pm

Wednesday Fully Booked

Thursday 9am-12.30pm

Friday 9am - 5.00pm
